Fees:

I offer a free 1/2 hour introductory session to learn about what brings you to therapy, to see if I think I can help you, and to see if you think you would be comfortable working with me.

My fee for a 50 minute individual session ranges from $75-$100 depending on your ability to pay. The fee for couples counseling is $125 for a 75 minute session. I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas and Private Health Care Systems (PHCS) insurance. I will provide a receipt for services rendered that you can submit to other insurance carriers for reimbursement.

Getting Started:

If we decide to work together you may wish to download, read, and sign the contract that follows and complete the client questionnaire. We can discuss these as well as the release of information in our first session and I will answer any of your questions .

The Client Information Sheet briefly explains the nature of therapy, limits to confidentiality, and my policies and procedures. Your signing it indicates your consent to treatment.

A Release of Protected Health Information is required if you wish to authorize me to speak with anyone outside of the therapy room, included family, friends, or other professionals. It is required if treatment is paid for by a third party, but otherwise is completely voluntary.

The Psychotherapy Client Questionnaire provides me with basic background information so we can spend the session talking about what's bothering you rather than you answering a lot of questions.
